The South Bronx: A Brief History Of Mind

Once upon a time, I saved Encyclopedia Britannia in the South Bronx of America.

The books from the 1970s were about to thrown into the back of a NYC garbage truck in The New Millennium. As someone who suffered head injuries in different timelines, they were very helpful in recovering memories of my childhood. I remember my golden trumpet in music class.  I remember singing Its Not Unusual and dancing like Tom Jones.

I remember searching for parts in the ruins of burnt out buildings to build a super computer like the ones seen on Star Trek. I remember role model Mr. Spock.

I remember a mob of Puerto Ricans and African American sixth graders that chased me after English class for being able to read at the high school level of 11.5 and for The Daily News award given for a painting that was exhibited at a mid town Manhattan gallery in the happiest time of the year.

I remember how I cried for the goodhearted boy I was and other ‘mutants’ like me.

You humans are now going suffer for your crimes against Earth and us.

All this great power I have and there’s nowhere to go but straight up.

I’ve been getting my pitching down to a science in outer space.

Allow me to do the math for humans on what this means.

And The Oscar goes to…LOL!
